One of my favorite new series of books are those by Jeff Lindsay about his “serial killer that only kills bad people,” .
The blurb for, the first book in the series reads, “Meet Dexter Morgan, a polite wolf in sheep’s clothing. He’s handsome and charming, but something in his past has made him abide by a different set of rules. He’s a serial killer whose one golden rule makes him immensely likeable: he only kills bad people. And his job as a blood splatter expert for the Miami police department puts him in the perfect position to identify his victims. But when a series of brutal murders bearing a striking similarity to his own style start turning up, Dexter is caught between being flattered and being frightened of himself or some other fiend.”
This may become a problem though because we don’t have Showtime, and I doubt that they are going to keep putting the spisodes online for free…though I wish they would.
So do I subscribe to Showtime for one show (and stay current with the series), or do I try to find the episodes on the net after the fact (which may or may not be practical), or do I just wait for the series on DVD (and totally fall behind on a show I really am getting into)?
