I really did not notice Tay Zonday’s music until a few days ago when he released his latest song, “Do the Can’t Dance.” When I saw the new video, I thought Wow, Tay is really an awesome singer. And the theme of the song appeals to me as geeks can’t dance. I then checked out his other songs. His music is awesome! I am very picky about the music I listen to, so that says a lot about how good it really is.

There are a lot of very talented people on YouTube. Some of these people are stars of YouTube and I truly believe that one day that they will make it big in the main stream. An example is Tay Zonday. His song “Chocolate Rain” got an incredible 8,553,406 views and he landed an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Above, the “Chocolate Rain” video and below, Tay’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel.

Also, there have been many parody videos posted to YouTube in response. The best one being performed by Chad Vader from Blame Society Films.

Currently my top two favorites are “Chocolate Rain” and “Do the Can’t Dance.” As an added bonus for Tay”s fans, links to his mp3’s are available for each of his songs in the video descriptions. This makes me happy, that the performer is willing to give his fans his music for enjoyment away from the YouTube screen. So if you are not already a Tay Zonday fan, check out his videos and grab some of his mp3’s. I am sure that you will get hooked on his music too.
