I quit carrying a billfold a long time ago. It caused me pain in my hip and it was the perfect target for sticky fingers in a crowd.
So what happens when someone asks me to pull out a picture of my fiancee?
I hand them my keys.

Yes, my keys. And the TAO Digital Photo Keychain dangling from it.
This clever little device (courtesy our friends at www.WholesaleKeychain.com) holds up to 56 images and will display them on the 1.4-inch color LCD screen either one at a time or in slideshow fashion.

Interface with the device is a snap (PC or Mac compatible) thanks to the supplied USB cable and Image transfer 4.0 software disk (although, regarding the latter, I had to go to the website for Mac support).
Internal memory is 8 megabytes and battery life (in play mode) is rated for up to 2.5 hours.

Now I don’t know how long a charge is good for, but I loaded my images over a month ago and when switching on the device this morning found battery charge indicator to still read “full.” Sweet.

And if you are concerned with adding yet another heavy, clunky object occupying space next to your lucky rabbit’s foot and beer bottle opener on your already overloaded keychain, this TAO digital keychain model only weighs 1.2 ounces and has external dimensions of 1.8×1.8×0.5 inches.

Three little buttons on the top of the device control power and display functions, it couldn’t be much simpler.
I found pricing for our black and silver test model to be listed at $29.99 USD.
