Today has been a long day starting with the early morning wakeup, drive to San Angelo, and then flights to Dallas and then to New York. The reason for all the fuss is that I am one of approximately twenty bloggers who have been invited to attend several Vivienne Tam events happening during New York’s Fashion Week. Obviously this is all tied in with the HP Vivienne Tam Mini Note that I have been sporting lately. Gear Diary In New York for Fashion Week with HP and Vivienne Tam photo

Tonight we had a casual meet & greet in the W’s Living Room; it was nice to meet some of the other bloggers that I keep up with, who have also been chosen to try out their own Tams.

From left top right: Jennine, Beth, Nick, Xavier, Amisha, Sierra, me, and Caroline.

Tomorrow we have a private city tour, and then tomorrow evening we’ll be attending Vivienne Tam’s Fall 2009 Collection and after-party. We also have several events at the Vivienne Tam Boutique on Thursday. Pretty swank, huh?

It goes without saying that this experience will be quite different than the tech events which I have covered in the past; the invited bloggers write for a wide variety of site genres, so it will be interesting to see how differently we all interpret the events unfolding over the next couple of days…

Bloggers attending include:

Ponzi – Geeks!
Amisha – Notebooks.com
Andru – Gear Live
Dana – The Art of Accessories
Tierra – Tech Starlet
Tammy – A Mom in Red High Heels
Casey – moosh in indy
Caroline – Morningside Mom
Beth – Techmamas
Gina – Techie Diva
Judie – Gear Diary
Julie – OSNN
Terri – Mobile PC World
Jennine – The Coveted
Meagan – VivrLatino
Helena – ChipChick
Sierra – GottaBeMobile
Kelcey – MamaBirdDiaries
Marinka – NY City Moms & More

About Judie Lipsett Stanford

View all posts by Judie Lipsett Stanford
I have had a fascination with all types of gadgets and gizmos since I was a child, beginning with the toy robot that my grandmother gave my brother - which I promptly "relieved him of" in 1973. I have long been captivated by devices that did anything interesting or served a unique purpose - however silly. I can't tell you how everything works – but I am known world-wide for using a product until I have a full understanding of what it does, what its limitations are, and if it excels in any given area...or not.
