Here’s a cool idea that I can see a use for in my house. Every morning when I get the kids up for school they’re asking for breakfast food and often that includes some begging for bacon (their favorite). Now I know it’s not that healthy – so I try to limit it to only a couple times a month. Lately I’ve been avoiding making it at all because the mess and cleanup is such a hassle.

Will finally! Looks like someone took the concept that was only recently applied to ketchup and applied it to bacon! Instead of messy frying and grease it appears you can now squeeze it out of the bottle to any length and consistency you like.

  1. I think that the mess of cooking bacon provides an adequate hurdle to keep us from eating it too often … perhaps once or twice a quarter …

There is just something *wrong* with this concept! 😀

Is it crunchy?? I think bacon is pretty healthy It’s just a little high in sodium, but you should be ok if you limit yourself to two slices a morning. If you want to avoid the mess Wayne you should try making it in the toaster oven. That’s what I do. You just put some foil over the baking sheet and once it’s done just toss it in the trash and no mess!!! And you get that all important crispy crunch!!

  5. #1 – I don’t trust any news items on this date. 🙂 #2 – It’s the fat, nitrates and nitrites that are the unhealthy part of bacon. Other than that, it is good for you !
