I’ve been using HanDBase on various devices for years. It was one of the first mobile database programs that I found, and while I’ve tried others over the years, I keep coming back to it. Among the reasons are that DDH Software, the makers of HanDBase, created a desktop version of HanDBase that synchronizes with the mobile version, and DDH has been good about porting their software to new mobile operating systems.
DDH Software released HanDBase for the iPhone and iPod Touch during the fourth quarter of 2008, and at the same time released a conduit to sync HanDBase on the iPhone and Touch with the desktop version on a Windows computer.
This week they announced the availability of the HanDBase Plus add-on for Macs, which provides a conduit for synchronizing with HanDBase on your Mac. Also announced was a update of the Mac Desktop application itself.
You can purchase HanDBase for your iPhone or Touch iTunes App Store for $9.99. The new HanDBase Plus for iPhone add-on package is available here for $14.99.
