Gear Diary HTC Sponsors New Pro Cycling Team for 2009 Tour de France photo

Think Lance Armstrong returning for the 2009 Tour de France is big news?  How about a team of smartphone-carryin’, Android wieldin’, Qualcomm 528 MHz-Quadband-7.2-Mbps-blarin’ cyclists ready to mercilessly run you down?  That’s right, HTC has partnered up with High Road Sports to sponsor the new “Team Columbia-HTC” Cycling Team.

The three year sponsorship includes both men’s and women’s professional cycling teams, and will debut July 4th in Monaco for the 96th Annual Tour de France.
