Wrapz 1

iFrogz has quickly become one of the leading accessory manufacturers for Apple’s iPhone.  From cases to headphones and charger and speakers their products are both functional and extremely stylish.

I recently received one of their Wrapz cases for the iPhone 3G & 3GS to review.

This silicone case comes in a variety of color choices and at a price of only $14.99 it’s worth a look.

The Wrapz case is available in seven color variations:  (Thick Black, White, Royal Blue, Red Ruby, Gun Metal Grey, Pink Panther and Clear.

Wrapz Colors

I received the Clear version.

Inside the case you’ll find iFrogz includes a crystal clear screen protector with the case.  A somewhat unexpected addition for a case that sells for under $15, but one that is not unwelcome.

Wrapz 2

The case itself is thicker than most silicone cases, which is good.  More silicone means more shock and impact protection for your phone if it’s dropped.

Wrapz 3

The back of the case has a swirl design which is slightly raised.  This adds a little more grip to the back of the case.

Wrapz 4

The iPhone fits into the Wrapz case perfectly.  It’s a nice tight fit, which is important when dealing with a silicone case.  You don’t want your case sagging around the edges.  The extra thick Wrapz case shouldn’t loosen up after prolonged use either.

The case features a complete “lay on the table” design which protects all of the iPhone’s chrome bezel.

Wrapz 5

The cut out on the top of the phone is unlike most cases of this type.  It’s a full cutout.  I’m personally not a fan of this design.  I’d rather see smaller individual cutouts for each button/port as that protects more of the device.  Still this isn’t a deal-breaker for me and it’s something I’m willing to live with.

Wrapz 6

There is a generous cutout along the bottom of the case revealing full access to the phone’s dock connector, mic and speaker.

Wrapz 8

Same goes for the volume rocker and vibrate switch.  There is no issue accessing either even with large fingers.

Wrapz 9

The clear version I was sent is matted and still allows the back of the phone, and most importantly the Apple logo, to be seen.

Wrapz 10

Priced at under $15, available in a ton of cool colors, the iFrogz Wrapz is great choice if you’re in search of a silicone style case for your iPhone 3G or 3GS.

It offers a good amount of both shock and impact protection in the way of thick padded silicone yet it remains stylish and rather sleek in the hand.

M.S.R.P. – $14.99

What I like – comes in many colors, thick silicone, screen shield included, inexpensive.

What I don’t like – nothing.
