  • Sharpie Twin Tip Permanent Marker (to be replaced by the Retractable Ultra Fine once this one runs out)

  • Mechanical Pencil (A wise old coach once told me to never be at practice without a pencil.)
  • During the week, I carry a whistle at work.
  • On Friday nights, I use coach’s headphones.


Jessica Fritsche

  • Dell Mini 9
  • Rocketfish BT mouse
  • Dell charger (or battery pack if I’m not going to be near an outlet)
  • iPhone 3G + charge/sync cable
  • Skullcandy earbuds
  • Moleskine for personal stuff/writing
  • Work (paper) notebook
  • A waterproof pencil case full of fountain pens, plus one pencil
  • Computer strength glasses (to prevent eye strain!)
  • Business card case
  • A small clutch full of things like my asthma meds, lipgloss, girly makeup stuff, a foldable brush, mints, hand sanitizer, etc.
  • Sometimes I also carry my Canon SD750 point and shoot and my Nintendo DS Lite (if I anticipate boredom).

Judie Lipsett

“I try to get around as lightly as possible, so daily (always in even my smallest bag):”

  • iPhone and/or Vertu Ascent Ti if I am in an iffy reception area
  • CaseMate holster extended battery for iPhone
  • Ultimate Ears LE earphones
  • Micro-fiber cloth
  • Sharpie pen (felt tip – fine point) and Uniball Grip (they are hard to find!) – my two absolute favorite types of pens in the world
  • Delta Dolce Vita stylus/ballpoint pen in my zippered wallet (it’s sentimental, and it comes in handy in an emergency)

When traveling, all of the above, plus:

  • MacBook Air (or MacBook Pro 17 – carried it last weekend, and it was just fine!)
  • 1 2GB thumb drive
  • Kindle DX
  • LaCie 320GB external hard drive (learned my lesson after the hard drive crash at Mobius and never travel without it; I need to get a 500GB one)
  • Cables: iPhone USB charging cable, microUSB cable for Kindle and Vertu, miniUSB for extended battery charger and camera
  • 5D or Canon G9, depending
