Gear Diary Larry and Judie Have Been Holding Out On Us... photo

I knew something fishy was going on around here at Gear Diary headquarters. I mean… all the emails exchanged. All the Skype calls. The midnight posting… there was something going on but I just couldn’t put my finger on it.

Then browsing the web recently I discovered it… I just hope this post isn’t the thing breaking the news to Kevin and Karen…

Yup, you saw this right. Back when we were in Vegas Judie and Larry must of wandered off to one of those little Elvis Chapels or something…

… then again with Judie in Texas and Larry in PA I don’t this long-distance thing is going to work…

Apologies to Griffin… we are all moving so fast that funny little slip ups with names happen. Your cases ROCK but we couldn’t resist.  At least it wasn’t what I recently heard in was printed in a synagogue news-letter-

“Apologies. In the last newsletter the lists of births and deaths were correct but the heading titles were accidentally swapped.”

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him.

 I have already received three emails asking if this is true. It’s true that there was a funny typo … and that’s the end of the story. :-)
