Yet another big day for Tokyoflash watch fans. Today marks the launch of three new watch designs for our time telling geek pleasure. The new designs are all part of the Kisai series, and all three offerings are available in both black and white casings. The square face watches are being introduced at a special launch price of $83 for the Lightspeed, and $93 for both the Transit and Joypad models. These budget friendly designs are made of a plastic housing and strap with a stainless steel buckle style clasp for durability. Most of the same features apply such as USB rechargeable battery, LED animations, and user replaceable battery. If you don’t yet own a piece of Tokyoflash glory then now’s the time to throw one on your Wish List or simply buy yourself something nice for holidays.

Light Speed
Most of these watches are self-explanatory and really need no introduction. The Light Speed is no exception. Truth be told Tokyoflash has proof that it’s basically “hyperspace for your wrist”. Who am I to tell them otherwise. Design is pretty simple to read with hours on the left, minutes on the right, and 2 minute increments in the middle. The animated display is normally set to run from 6 to midnight and moves blue LED’s up and down the face of the watch at Light Speed. Maybe Han would not have had to enter the asteroid field if he was wearing this watch, we all know the Falcon has lightspeed issues.

Transit
This model is strikingly familiar to one of my favorite designs, the Traffic. The face of the Transit has digital tubes racing and weaving all over as if the watch was a small grid of city streets. The raised face adds more dimension and style to the curved black smoked lens. I would like to think that when your on your way home from work and stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, the Transit watch will keep you entertained for hours while you wait and wonder if you’ll ever get home. Tokyoflash standards still apply so you get the light show at night, fully rechargeable power source, and probably more dates on Friday just because of the watch you wear. This model is available in black and white and will set you back about $93.

Joypad
When I see the word Joypad for some reason the original Nintendo comes to mind and even more so the game Contra. This visual masterpiece clearly has nothing to do with Contra but if you share my excitement for video games then you probably also like the word Joypad. This watch is almost an illusion with all the raised blocks and square front face. The fact is this is very close to a normal watch where the number 1-12 are in the their normal positions on the clock face. The minutes are given using the inner ring while the center is for single digit minutes from 1-4. No matter which model you buy your bound to grab the attention of everyone at this year’s holiday gatherings. If you want to see your geek’s eye’s light up like when Ralphie first saw the leg lamp in the window, then this is probably the next best thing. This model also goes for $93 and is available in black and white.
