Gear Diary Deal or Dud #8: The Perfect Brownie Pan

If you’ve ever made brownies at home you know the toughest part is the cutting.  You basically need a degree in geometry to determine where to make your cuts to guarantee you get finished brownies that are all even in size and shape.  Not to mention the problem of the brownies, which so often end up stuck together.

The Perfect Brownie Pan promises to take the guess work out of making brownies.  It features a non-stick pan, divider and stand which combine to create brownie perfection.

The pan is available at your local “As Seen On TV” store for $19.99.

Currently, via this web site, the Perfect Brownie Pan is available “buy one, get one free”.

I recently put the Perfect Brownie Pan to the test.  Was it a deal or a dud?

On the stand….you are supposed to be able to put it on the pan such that you can lower the pan with the bottom sitting on the stand. I think you had it upside down so you couldn’t do that. Other then that, I am glad to see that this thing worked! Looks better then that all edges pan that is probably a nightmare to clean!

@Joel – that’s correct. If you watched the video you’d have seen at the 2:20 mark, the annotation which explains how the stand is supposed to function with the insert being dropped out of the bottom.

Ah must of flew right by me. 😉

I bet this may even work with regular cake or coffee cake too. Square cupcake/coffee cake! 😉

  4. Very good review. I was going to mention the stand as well, but I see other have beat me to it. We’ve got one of these things and I agree that it makes some pretty good brownies. Definitely a deal.
