I have seen the future of mobile phones and it comes from… Dubai!?!? Yes, this phone comes from the up-and-comer I-mate, a company that is set to take the mobile world by storm and promises to be on top for decades to come.

When I first took the Jam out of the box I wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking at. Is it a big phone or is it a small computer? Well, in actuality it is both. The i-mate™ JAM is

the smallest Windows Pocket PC available. It includes GPRS for Internet or remote office access, and features Bluetooth, Windows Pocket PC Second Edition, 64MB RAM, an SDIO/MMC slot, a 64k colour transreflective LCD and a built-in 1.3 Mega-Pixel camera. Some final specifics before we start using it and work on the review. The phone has a 1.3 Mega-Pixel camera and a blazing fast Intel Bulverde 416 MHz Processor. The huge 1200 mAh will make sure the phone runs on and on and on. Like the battery the LCD screen is state of the art. The 2.8″ screen has amazing clarity thanks to the crisp 240 x 320 resolution.

    I coud have done this as an update to the post but it is clearer if I just add a comment- I really thought my Motorola mpx220 was the ultimate phone Since I got this for review though I cannot imagine going back to the Moto. The touchscreen along is a huge step forward. Honestly cannot imagine what more could be done with a phone from here.
