\ Logitech Alert Review – Makes Your iPad a Home Security Solution

Now  that summer is here, you’re probably gearing up to enjoy some much-needed vacation time.   Before packing up and hitting the road, one thing none of us likes to stop and really think about is how to keep watch over our home or business while away.   Luckily, Logitech has come to the rescue with an easy and portable solution that doesn’t require us to own a private jet to maintain digital home security.

Does it do the trick?  Can Logitech Al turn an iPad into your private watch dog?  Let’s jump right in and see.

The Logitech Alert security system I was sent for review included a single indoor camera, power supply and wireless network adapter.  Setup is a breeze!  Simply connect the included wireless network adapter to your wireless router, then hang or place the security camera and power supply where needed.   Download the free Logitech Alert app for your iPad from Apple’s App Store and you’re able to remotely view your home or business from anywhere — right from your iPad!

Want an even more proactive option?   Logitech Alert can even send motion-activated alerts to your email.  Anyone walks in where they’re not supposed to be — bam! — you get an emailed alert.  Then you open up the Logitech Alert app and view exactly what’s happening.

All without professional installation or service fees.

Whether you’re looking to keep tabs on your home or small business, the Logitech Alert system fits the bill.   Since you can add more cameras — indoor or outdoor (with nightvision to boot) based on your own needs and budget, you won’t ‘outgrow’ Logitech’s solution.

If you find yourself traveling frequently for work,  wish to keep a watchful eye on your home or business while taking vacation, have rental property you need to remotely view from anywhere, then the Logitech Alert solution should be at the top of your list.  The simple installation, affordability, ease of use, portability and function makes Logitech Alert a true winner.
