Sculpteo Unveils “The Most Powerful 3D Printing Cloud Engine and the Sculteo app”

Sculpteo is a pretty amazing service. Founded in 2009 they let you upload your 3D-model and they create the final product from it. It allows them to create such amazing sculptures as the skill at the top of this post or iPhone cases and cups.

Now the company has announced an ap that lets you snap a picture and have them turn it into a tangible product. As they explain, the

“Sculpteo free App turns your iPhone into a sculpture tool, enabling you to create a unique personalized home collection. This user friendly and fast tool will let you express your personality through unique designs. Sculpteo makes the come to life through 3D-printing. Get inspired!”

In addition they offer a collection of 3D designs created by some of the world’s best designers. I have every intention of trying the service out so stay tuned for a step by step experience.
