If you are in the U.S. Cellular coverage area, you should already know that they work really hard for you as a customer, and reward loyalty in a way that simply doesn’t happen on other carriers. If you are in their area and DON’T know this … now is your chance!

There are several new things going on starting today.

First, starting today U.S. Cellular is offering new customers a $100 activation credit when they sign up, and they can receive up to an additional $150 cash back when they trade in their used smartphone through our Trade-In Program. That is an awesome way to save a load of money getting into a new phone!

They are also dropping prices on phones both on and off contract:

We are also dropping prices on our entry-level and high-end smartphones. Customers can get the Android-powered Samsung Repp and Huawei Ascend II for just a penny, the BlackBerry Curve 9350 for $49.99 and the HTC 7 Pro for $129.99. The Motorola ELECTRIFY, with its 4.3-inch screen and 1 GHz dual core processor, is $129.99 after mail-in-rebate. For customers with other wireless carriers, this is a great time to break up and switch to U.S. Cellular.

For those interested in prepaid smartphones, we have five Android-powered devices, including the HTC Wildfire for $99.99 and HTC Hero S for $299.99. We also lowered prices on many feature and messaging phones for prepaid customers too. The Samsung Chrono is $19.99 and the LG Saber is $39.99, and the activation fee is waived on prepaid plans that are $50 or more.

They also want to remind everyone of the awesome points-based rewards system:

We also have the only points-based rewards program in the industry where customers get benefits for doing simple things like paying their wireless bill on time, adding a line or referring friends and family.

That is a great bunch of stuff they are offering! Again, if you are in their coverage area, definitely head to US Cellular for all of the details!

Also, although this isn’t exactly ‘new’ anymore (thought I had posted on it two weeks ago but didn’t), U.S. Cellular has also introduced their first LTE devices!

U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM), in conjunction with its partner, King Street Wireless, is launching a 4G LTE network next month that will enhance the wireless experience with countless entertainment possibilities and help customers simplify and organize their lives. The 4G LTE network will cover 25 percent of U.S. Cellular’s customers and will coincide with the launch of the Android-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 10.1 4G LTE mobile tablet followed shortly by the Samsung Galaxy S® Aviator™ 4G LTE smartphone.

Head to the US Cellular 4G home page for more info on the service and devices!
