Gear Diary Pre Order this Amazing Harry Potter Complete DVD Collection at Amazon.com! photo

The books are done, the movies are done, and now even all of the Harry Potter DVD releases are done. So what to do? Well, last fall Warner Brothers announced they were ‘doing a Disney’ and pulling all of the movies ‘back into the vault’:

Warners said it will stop shipping all titles, including box sets and special and limited editions. That includes the final title in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which hits stores Nov. 11, as well as Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection.

Apparently this move is being made to allow Warner to control the flow of the films in the market and … well issue mega-packs like the one pictured above!

Right now you can head to Amazon.com and pre-order the collection for what is called the Harry Potter Wizards Collection a Blu-Ray boxset that holds all eight of the Harry Potter epic.

I have loved technology for as long as I can remember - and have been a computer gamer since the PDP-10! Mobile Technology has played a major role in my life - I have used an electronic companion since the HP95LX more than 20 years ago, and have been a 'Laptop First' person since my Compaq LTE Lite 3/20 and Powerbook 170 back in 1991! As an avid gamer and gadget-junkie I was constantly asked for my opinions on new technology, which led to writing small blurbs ... and eventually becoming a reviewer many years ago. My family is my biggest priority in life, and they alternate between loving and tolerating my gaming and gadget hobbies ... but ultimately benefits from the addition of technology to our lives!

Cool, but a little spendy for me for a fancy cardboard box. ;)

So true!  I look at it this way – never cared about album art (only the music), never cared about game boxes (just the games) so WHY should I care about this (just want the movies).
