The iLID began life as a Kickstarter Project. (Here’s the page.) I got in on it later, so I ordered one retail (I ended up with two, so be on the lookout for a giveaway). Here’s what the website has to say about it.

What Needs Improvement: At $39.95 it is a bit pricey for what it is; The sticker on the back was a pain to remove and left some residue

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets.
