Booq has just announced two new water-resistant natural fiber bags as part of their Mamba Fibre Collection. The bags are constructed from a lightweight, durable material and provide “rugged protection with unparalleled elegance”. Personally I think they look great.

As members of booq’s sleek Fibre Collection, the Mamba daypack and courier are constructed with an innovative natural fiber developed exclusively for the series. Water-resistant and organically dyed, with a smooth yet rugged feel, its unique properties allowed booq’s design team to achieve an extremely lightweight, durable and elegant design, while conserving valuable resources. Each bag comes equipped with YKK zippers and features a metal-framed Terralinq™ serial tag, booq’s ground-breaking service which helps reunite the owner with a lost & found bag.
The Mamba daypack holds a 13″ or 15″ laptop, an iPad, an iPhone, and more. The notebook compartment is padded and is lined with a lightweight nylon fabric. The bag has special pockets for iPad, iPhone and pens. An easily accessed exterior pocket is great for quickly grabbing small items you might need.
The Mamba courier is a laptop brief/messenger bag. It has a padded laptop compartment that is also lined. Smaller pockets are good for assorted other items and there is, of course, a padded area for your iPad.
