Gear Diary Pussy Riot Selected Tracks Now on Slacker Radio photo

If you read Carly’s excellent post about the Russian punk band Pussy Riot and their arrest and sentencing on ‘hooliganism’ charges recently, you might want to hear more from the band. Well, as Carly mentioned Slacker Radio has stepped up and added some songs to their ‘Protest Radio’ station.

Slacker has added Pussy Riot tracks to the Slacker “Protest Radio” station. When you first play the station a Pussy Riot song will start things off.

Here is the direct link: http://www.Slacker.com/station/Protest

We have the tracks:

- “Kill the Sexist”
- “Putin Wet Himself”
- “Kropotkin Vodka”
- “Deliver Pavement”

Slacker’s “Protest Radio” station, programmed by legendary DJ Marco Collins (more info below), can also be found in the “Specialty” station category everywhere the service is available.

The protest station is fairly rough and hardcore, but definitely worth checking out!

I have loved technology for as long as I can remember - and have been a computer gamer since the PDP-10! Mobile Technology has played a major role in my life - I have used an electronic companion since the HP95LX more than 20 years ago, and have been a 'Laptop First' person since my Compaq LTE Lite 3/20 and Powerbook 170 back in 1991! As an avid gamer and gadget-junkie I was constantly asked for my opinions on new technology, which led to writing small blurbs ... and eventually becoming a reviewer many years ago. My family is my biggest priority in life, and they alternate between loving and tolerating my gaming and gadget hobbies ... but ultimately benefits from the addition of technology to our lives!
