Gear Diary Tokyoflash Welcomes the Zone LCD Watch to the Kisai Family photo

Tokyoflash doesn’t make the world wait too long for new watch releases; the latest addition to the lineup is the Kisai LCD Zone. This all stainless steel watch rocks an “always on” LCD display and is completely redesigned from the ground up.

Although the face looks like a cryptic number system it’s actually quite easy to read. The hours, minutes, and seconds are displayed on the top, middle, and lower parts of the display in a rounded S-like pattern. At first look this new display almost reminds me of the bomb countdown timer on the Predator’s wrist which really adds a few points to the geek factor. Of course there is still an EL backlight for night use, the date, an alarm, and some pretty cool animations that can be turned off is the wearer wishes to do so.

You have 4 options to choose from in regards to band and face color, but all options feature a fully stainless case, band, and clasp.  All the usual bells and whistles apply with the Kisai Zone, just as they do with the rest of the Tokyoflash timepieces.
