Are you ready to see the end of all the rumors and speculation regarding the newest iPhone? We are, too!

Let’s get something straight, although we do our best not to report on rumors, it doesn’t mean we don’t read them. We have, and we’ve gotten more and more excited. Sure it does seem like pretty much everything that needs to be known about the new iPhone has already been leaked, but that doesn’t guarantee the rumors are correct and, even if they are, it doesn’t make us any less excited for the announcements and that One more thing…!

And while we won’t be in auditorium, we can (and will) do the next best thing — we’ll be following numerous feeds and bringing you the most salient points as they are revealed. We would love it if,  as the news comes in, you would join in the conversation. What do you like? What are you disappointed by? And perhaps the most relevant: what are you buying?

Join us at 10am PT, 12pm CST, and 1pm ET for/ our reactions to the big reveal!

  1. If anything…an iPod Touch for my son. If my wife was eligible, and iPhone 5.

Pretty much like I said it would be. Somewhat better iPhone, bettter iPod touch, no iPad Mini (not yet, anyway).

The iPhone 5 improvements are nice and all and incremental as I suspected. Not enough to make me slam my money down, but definitely enough to make me notice. So now we will see if it’s enough to keep people interested. It doesn’t have to be a profound change to keep people interested -just enough of a change. I do like the darker look, though. 🙂

no doubt a very nice phone. lacking the Apple “wow” factor that has become the defacto of past launches but very much improved on all points of the the 4s. I still see this as being a catch-up device to some market standards, but is expected since they only launch a new phone once a year.

I’m sure this will be the biggest launch in iPhone history, as most have been waiting for LTE and a little more display real estate. Hopefully some new features will pop up causing competitors to work that much harder to keep on the heels of Apple.

As iPhone users what new features are you all most excited about?

  3. First, the live blogging of the event was good, thank you. I had to leave early but enjoyed seeing the info coming in real time.

My wife and I both use a 3GS and are looking to upgrade, – on the basis of this, the 5 looks a good upgrade. Maybe if there are some 32GB 4S available cheap we would get them, but I do not want a used phone and 16GB is too small for me.
