Drawing on the same design cues we’ve seen in recent products, Skooba Design has just announced three new upcoming ways to carry, protect and organize your gear. It will, of course, come as no small surprise that we are looking forward to getting our hands on each.

So what HAS Skooba rolled out?

There’s the Photo/Tablet Traveler V.3. I’ve been doing a series of camera bag and case reviews and this looks like a great solution for carrying a lot of gear even when you want to travel light. Think of it as the amazing Laptop Weekender we’ve reviewed shrunk down to carry a camera and an iPad.

Here’s what Skooba has to say:

A one-of-a-kind image-maker’s bag, uniquely designed, compact solution for the growing number of people using a DSLR/tablet combo as a portable “digital studio”

More than a dozen pockets, compartments and organizers in all hold camera with mounted lens, iPad/tablet, and loads of accessories

Holds any DSLR with mounted lens — Camera section is 9.5” deep at its tallest point, more than enough room for a mounted 28-70mm, or even some longer lenses

Holds any tablet in well-padded internal sleeve with its own protective flap

Overall Size: 11″x9″x7.5″ (Nominal)

It is $99.99.

Next up is the Skooba Satchel V.3, Mini. It will be $159.95 when it arrives in November. It has

16 pockets, compartments and organizers in all hold laptop, files and folders, gadgets, accessories and more

Designed to hold 13 inch MacBook and similar subcompact laptops. Laptop section interior is 13″ x 9″

Includes our incredible, patented Superbungee™ shoulder strap — for more shock absorption and carrying comfort than you’ve ever experienced

Weighs only 36 ounces — despite its generous capacity and all the bells and whistles, the Mini Satchel is a feather-light treat for your shoulder

Finally there is the Cable Stable Rollup Kit. I love my Cable Stable, but there are times when it is a bit too much. These aren’t, and at $14.95 Judie and I’ll be ordering a few for ourselves and for gifts.

Ultra-compact organizer has 5 elasticized slots for earbuds, Apple/USB cords and other small cables and accessories

Roll-up design takes up about the same space as an eyeglass case, fits in coat pocket or small space in any bag

Weighs only an ounce (!), to help you travel light

Includes two Toggle Tie cable keepers — Bungee loops with push-button adjusters, to neatly hold extra cords, or cables/chargers too large to fit into the Rollup

We’ll have more information as soon as these each begin shipping.
