Extreme Road Trip 2 is basically a side scrolling car game that requires players to control a vehicle through a bumpy countryside. The only controls are buttons on the bottom corners of the screen. Pressing each will tilt/flip the car that direction. The fun comes in when the vehicle is launched high into the sky. Performing flips and crazy landings builds up stunt power which helps earn stars and power ups. Land wrong and the vehicle will explode and the trip will be over.

As the vehicle careens out of control across the countryside, it uses fuel which is indicated by a red bar. Extra fuel can be picked up by collecting red barrels along the way. After stunts, a burst of blue fuel will speed the vehicle and save the red fuel. The crazier the stunt and the better the landing, the more blue fuel burst will be earned. Fill the blue fuel levels up and a turbo overdrive mode sends the car into super fast mode. Remember the faster the vehicle travels, the longer distance will be traveled which leads to level ups and bonuses. I have learned not to be so aggressive on my stunts to ensure a longer run and longer distances. It will take some practice to keep control at high speeds.

Extreme Road Trip 2 provides quick, addictive gameplay that includes speed, stunts, explosions and plenty of vehicles to unlock and power ups to use. I find myself having to play one more time to see what I can unlock over and over. For iPhone 5 users, the entire screen real estate is used not only making the game look better, but also allowing for the control buttons to be completely out of the way from gameplay view. If you like high speeds and car flips, give Extreme Road Trip a try. The game is FREE and can be found here in the app store.

What I like: Addictive gameplay that can be played at short or long periods with success.

What could be improved: I would like to see each vehicle handle uniquely and upgrades on the vehicles actually feel like an upgrade.
