Incipio has released a wide range of different cases for the iPhone 5. A few months ago we reviewed a number of them. Now we’ve got a look at three more. First up, is the Incipio EDGE PRO Co-molded Hard-Shell Slider Case. This is a simple slider case with a unique design. Here’s a look.

I’m not overly impressed with this case. It is simple and has a nice design but it really doesn’t offer that much more. With so many great cases around – including the next two in this series of three – I can’t see any real justification for spending $35 on this particular case. The exception, of course, is if you take a look at it and think, “Wow, I love that design!” It’s not that there’s anything wrong with this case – it’s simply the fact that there are more exciting ones currently available.

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him.
