When I was traveling back and forth to California a lot, I had to do a lot of driving around the Bay Area.  (Austin is much smaller; in the SF Bay Area, you have to drive everywhere.)  And even though I had lived there for more than 20 years, the population keeps growing and they keep adding more houses and streets and freeways and buildings and malls and development parks and everything else.  So I found it very, very handy indeed to be able to mount my trusty iPhone in my car.  The thing is, how can you tell the difference between a cheapie mount that’s going to fail on you at a critical moment, and a good quality one that won’t drop your phone or tablet to the floorboards?  Well, check out the latest from Bracketron.

The Mi-T Grip Dash Mount features a unique grip and rotating head that holds devices with or without a case in portrait and landscape modes, and allows full access to device controls. The Universal Tablet Window Mount features a reinforced articulating arm and 360-degree rotation for easy angle adjustments and precise positioning. The universal design allows full access to all device controls and allows you to mount your iPad or tablet for front seat navigation as well as front passenger entertainment.

Looking for a mounting solution?  Maybe Bracketron has what you’re needing. Surf on over to their website.  And if you do, be sure to let us know what you think below!

Doug is a nerd from way back, falling for a Commodore PET at the age of 15, and never looking back. Riding the nerd wave, he got a Computer Science degree and entered the tech industry at a young age, deciding after a year and a half of front-line phone technical support that he should try something, *anything* else. He settled on technical writing, and has been cranking out documentation for companies like Unisys, SGI, Cisco, Juniper, and many others ever since. He is nothing short of ecstatic to be working for H-P from his home base in Austin.
