Gear Diary Invoxias All in one Dock Now Compatible with All Devices photo

In case you thought I was exaggerating with my other post on power tech being a hot item this year (Okay yes, I admit that I have a well-deserved reputation for exaggeration . . .), here’s another one by Invoxia.  In a smart move (in my opinion), they have made their docking station compatible with what they say are “all” devices.  I’m sure that “all” doesn’t really mean all, if you know what I mean, but still, it’s worth looking at.  Especially if you’re a frustrated iDevice user who gets tired of having to constantly update your power tech, nu?  (Sometimes I wish we were a little more like China, where–so I’ve read–the government came down with an edict that all power cables have to be standardized.  I think they went with miniUSB, but I can’t remember.  I mean, that would make life simpler, wouldn’t it?  Not that I would want to be surveilled 24/7 like the Chinese.  Not that we’re not heavily surveilled here in the U.S.  Wait, what was I talking about again?)

The AudiOffice is a versatile dock which optimizes iOS and now Android devices so that it is an essential device for seamless daily communication and for listening to music. Simply pair the AudiOffice to an Android or iOS device via Bluetooth and users can call using their mobile line or use any of the VOIP applications such as Skype, Viber, Bria or Facetime. The New AudiOffice will be available in the US and Europe during the first quarter of 2013. The New AudiOffice is available to purchase from www.invoxia.com for $299.

Doug is a nerd from way back, falling for a Commodore PET at the age of 15, and never looking back. Riding the nerd wave, he got a Computer Science degree and entered the tech industry at a young age, deciding after a year and a half of front-line phone technical support that he should try something, *anything* else. He settled on technical writing, and has been cranking out documentation for companies like Unisys, SGI, Cisco, Juniper, and many others ever since. He is nothing short of ecstatic to be working for H-P from his home base in Austin.
