Boogie Board Sync 9.7

You know about the Boogie Board, right?  It’s basically an LCD notepad that can be reused as many times as you need.  It’s great for leaving a note for your husband, wife, or the kids, or maybe jotting down a phone number at the office.  I know I go through tons of little notepads that I keep next to my phone in my office just taking little notes.  This saves all that paper, plus, all your friends or coworkers would be totally jealous of you.  What’s really cool is that these babies use zero power.  Zero.  They use Reflex No Power LCD Technology, which you can read about here.

Anyway, the reason we’re talking about Boogie Board today is that they’ve introduced two new LCD eWriter models at CES!  The first is the Boogie Board Jot 4.5 LCD eWriter and the second is the Boogie Board Sync 9.7 LCD eWriter.

What’s cool about the Boogie Board Sync 9.7 LCD eWriter is that you can now save hundreds of pages of notes in an SD memory and sync those with your computer, laptop, or tablet wirelessly via Bluetooth.  It’s really the next logical step from the previous models with no memory at all.  This way, you can sync your notepad with Evernote or any other popular note program on your mobile devices, laptop, etc.  The Boogie Board Sync 9.7 features, you guessed it, a 9.7″ screen.

Boogie Board Jot 4.5

The Boogie Board Jot 4.5 is small in size and perfect for those quick notes, memos, etc.  It’s small enough to fit in your pocket or purse.  It comes with an attachable stylus as well as a plastic screen cover so that your neat Reflex screen won’t get scratched bouncing around in your pocket or purse.    I know that I’m very interested in this model myself to keep at my desk at work, depending on the price point.

You can check out the full line of Boogie Board LCD eWriters at Improv’s website.

I'm an intern architect by trade, but the overarching theme of my life has always been trying to keep up with the newest, coolest technology. Ever since I picked up an NES controller, I've been hooked on the latest and greatest gadgets, gizmos, and toys. Whether it's gaming, mobile phones and accessories, or PCs and Apple products, I'm interested. I use many Apple products in my daily life, such as the iPhone 5, iPad 4, and my MacBook Pro. I also recently built an HTPC for my living room in order to stream videos to my HDTV. I'd like to say I'm a pretty well rounded techie.
