As I look at the photos that came with this particular news item, I found it kinda funny. It wasn’t all that long ago when it was the 49ers that were the Big Team in the NFL, and the Patriots and Packers were also-rans. But not any more, boy! (And as a native NewEnglander, it pleases me no end that the Patriots, Red Sox, and [to a lesser extent] Bruins have exited the doldrums.)
