Gear Diary Neat Enhances Cloud and Mobile Capabilities photo

OK, I’ll admit it:  The “cloud” makes me nervous.  It’s not that I don’t trust the software, or the engineering of it per se; my distrust comes more under the heading of “infrastructure”.  For example, I am banging this article out right now on an internet connection that is, how shall we say, flakey as hell.  It was down nearly all day, I have no idea how long it will stay up, and the repair folks won’t be here for two days.  Which kinda makes me wish I didn’t story (say) “Blade Runner” on the cloud cuz I’m jonesing to watch it.  But there’s no question that there’s going to be more and more stuff on the cloud as we move forward, and for that you’re going to want cloud-based applications.

With updates to NeatMobile, the company enhances the utility of their mobile application. Currently available on iOS mobile devices and Android smartphones, Neat plans to announce availability on Android tablets in 2013. The new features and functions for NeatMobile will be released in 2013.

Sound interesting?  Well then, head on over to their web site and take a look.  And if you do, be sure to let us know what you think below!
