So you’re going on a trip, and you want to be able to protect your precious gear, right? Well, you can go to the standbys like Otterbox or some such, but as we often tell you here on Gear Diary, we love competition. And so now gear maker Mizco, via their Travelocity division (and no, I don’t know quite what that means, either), are offering some waterproof and sandproof cases for your smartphone.
Well, now MIZCO International has teamed up with Travelocity to bring you the Travelocity Waterproof Series of cases. If you’re a serious road warrior, or perhaps you do a lot of outdoorsy-type stuff and so need a case with a bit more protection than your usual “bought it at a mall kiosk”-type model, maybe this is one you should check out. Yes, this kind of thing is going to give your gadget quite a bit more bulk and some extra weight, no question, but when it comes to protecting your precious gear, is that really a bad thing? Well, is it?
