Even though I love them, I’ll be the first to admit that lens and other camera adapter equipment looks a little bizarre when mated to a smartphone. In the day, your 35mm SLR camera was a big, bulky sucker. It had heft, size, and throw-weight. So when you hooked up big lenses to it, it didn’t look too odd. Now that cameras can be ridiculously tiny, that’s not the case any more. Although not so much with digital SLR cameras — those are still often a good size. But it doesn’t matter, kids; I still like to see those camera adaptations available for cell phones. Like this one here …
The USBFever SLR 37mm lens to iPhone adapter kit allows you to just use a threaded cover for your iPhone 5, along with an adapter ring for 37mm lens. Then you attach the lens and snap away pictures to your heart’s content! (Does anyone even “snap” pictures any more? I mean, digital cameras don’t have a shutter, right?)
The advantages are that you can share those 37mm lens for your SLR or DSLR and at the same time, taking pictures in an even higher quality as those lens for SLR is much higher than those for iPhones or Cellphones.
Sound good? Surf on over and check it out; it’s available for an MSRP of $blah. If you get yourself one, be sure to let us know what you think below. And as long as you’re over there you should check out USBFever’s other offerings, of which there are many, many, many!
