When creating the Jabra Style, the company was looking for something that would look great, fit comfortably and be easy to use. They have pretty much achieved that with the Jabra Style, and the fact that they have been able to keep the price under $50 is impressive. As you will see in the video, the headset has a minimum of buttons and controls. Instead, it features automatic volume adjustment and spoken battery and connection status. Here’s a closer look.

I like the way the headset looks, and the fact that it is easy to use is a nice bonus. I should note that when I first used it, I forgot about the whole simplicity thing and went searching for the volume controls. Only then did I remember … there are none. This headset adjusts automatically. There is, in fact, just one button on this headset that is used for most tasks, while the volume and background noise are addressed by the headset itself.
Featuring Bluetooth 4.0, the Jabra Style also has Near Field Communications built-in. Tap the headset to any NFC-enabled device, and they will pair automatically. For flexibility, the headset can be used with the included ear hook, or you can swap out the ear gel and use the headset without it. It all depends on what is more comfortable to you.

I had a wedding in the city yesterday, so I grabbed my review sample and used it while driving in, walking around, and waiting to begin. I found it to work well and be comfortable. The Jabra Style is a good headset, and the company made the right choices in how to streamline the device to make it simple to use and wear. If you want to control your audio from your headset (play pause etc), this won’t be the right headset for you.
