OS X Mavericks Brings Enhanced Voice Recognition

Enhanced voice recognition in OS X Mavericks means that you are no longer limited to the amount of time you speak and can dictate even when offline. It means global dictation is available everywhere and without time limits. It is a far easier way to write. In fact, I am dictating this and I’m not even wearing a headset.

We’ll have much more to say about Mavericks and the free updates to iWork and iLife in the coming days. For now let’s just say that while pricing on the iPads may have disappointed some, these free updates are nothing short of impressive.

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets.
