As I noted in earlier posts about the upcoming Steam Machines, PCs that run Valve’s Steam OS, the gaming PCs were expected in 2014. Thankfully that’s coming true as CyberPowerPC has announced that it will have two Steam Machines on the market in the second half of 2014. You can check out the full press release, here.
CyberPowerPC’s Steam Machine “A” for sale for $499 that will look to compete with the Xbox One and PS4 with it’s AMD Radeon video card and AMD 3.9 GHz processor. The Steam Machine “I” will sell for $699 and will come with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX video card and Intel Core i3 processor running at 3.5 GHz. Both of the Steam Machines will be packing 8GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. Each version of the Steam Machine will also come with one of Valve’s new Steam Controllers and will run Valve’s Steam OS which looks to bring PC gaming into the living room on these small form factor PCs. Look for the Steam Machines in the later half of this year.
