The Eye Tribe Announces Beta Release of Affordable Eye Tracking Software for Smartphones at MWC 2014

Logo2At Mobile World Conference, The Eye Tribe, a Danish motion tracking firm has announced the beta release of the world’s first affordable eye motion tracking software development kit.  With this technology, you could potentially control your smartphone just by looking at it.  Affordable eye tracking brings with it a load of future possibilities.  For more, check out the video below.

    “OEM vendors could likely add this sensor to their handsets
    for just five dollars”

    If modifying the device to add eye-tracking only adds 5
    dollars to the manufacturing cost, then I’m sure that at least one of the
    smartphone, tablet, notebook, and laptop manufacturers will make the supposedly
    easy camera modification.
