Think of a mash-up between Beats headphones, Instagram, and GoPro, and you’ll have some sense of what the Soundsight headphones are about. Soundsight is a newly introduced product that will combine high-quality Bluetooth headphones with a 1080p camera to allow users to record HD video from their point of view. Soundsight is available for preorder at $349 for 30 days.

Not only do Soundsight Headphones play HIFI audio from your phone via Bluetooth, it can also stream your video back to your phone so you can trim the video, mix in your own music, add filters a la Instagram, and share the videos with your friends…all without plugging into a computer. Soundsight Headphones are compatible with both Android and iOS devices and the Soundsight app will be free to use.

The 1080p HD camera is mounted on a rotating ring on the exterior of the headphones so you can adjust the angle of the camera on the fly. The headphones themselves are also noise cancelling using the built-in microphones so you don’t have to worry about outside noise ruining your music listening experience. Soundsight Headphones are an innovative product that we can’t wait to try out for ourselves…and the Soundsight app looks to be a great companion to the headphones themselves.

If you’re not yet convinced, maybe a special pre-order price will entice you further. Soundsight Headphones are currently priced at $349 for a limited time…30 days to be precise. The headphones are expected to hit the market in the Spring of 2015 for a retail price of $499. That’s a hefty savings in exchange for becoming an early adopter. The 30 day clock started on July 11th, so the preorder clock is ticking! You can preorder Soundsight Headphones directly from the manufacturer at their website.
