Send in the Axis Nano Drones – A Perfect Fit Just the Size of Your Phone

Axis Drones™ of Rochester, New York, a division of Morrison Innovations, designed the new Axis Nano Drone™ for Beginners, with varying colors, creatively durable design, and nimble controls that make learning to fly an exciting and affordable experience (pre-orders start at $35).

NanoDroneStretchGoals

With the main goal funded in less than six days on Indiegogo, this campaign, started on Feb 4, still has more stretch goals, so interested participants can get in on the action before the campaign closes on March 13, 2015 (11:59pm PT).

These drones are so small yet functional that people might mistake them for insects without the unnatural, yet appealing color design, which also protects the spinning blades that power these tiny dynamos. The removable landing skids also protect the drones from debris and they can easily hover thanks to the 6-Axis stabilization in the design.

The Axis Nano Drones for Beginners are ready to fly after a short 15-20 minute USB charge and adding the required (but not included) 2-AAA batteries to the remote control. They should make a notable impression when they start shipping (fully assembled) this summer. Check out the specs below:
