Six Flags’ Magic Mountain Coaster Gets ‘Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’ Treatment

It’s never too early in the year to think about amusement parks. This year Six Flags Entertainment Corporation will partner with Capcom to theme their Magic Mountain park with elements from the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate video game, exclusively available on Nintendo 3DS.

Fans can visit the Goliath roller coaster at this “Thrill Capital of the World” to experience a re-themed ride beginning March 28 and ending August 10 with the special stops on-site from the national Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate traveling Caravan Tour on March 28 and 29.

Riders will enjoy the Goliath roller coaster features a 255 foot drop at 85 mph with one dedicated passenger train of the Goliath coaster custom-skinned to resemble the game’s flagship Gore Magala monster. After the ride, fans can try a Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate demo at kiosks inside the Cyber Cafe.

In Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, players take on the role of a hunter that joins up with a traveling caravan to explore new lands and combat ferocious enemies in pursuit of the ultimate hunt. The latest game takes players to new heights, literally, with the introduction of more dynamic vertical gameplay including a new monster riding mechanic. Capcom’s popular Monster Hunter  series has sold more than 32 million units worldwide.
