I don’t travel near as much as I used to, but when I do I no longer drag a laptop with me, opting instead for my iPad Air. Of course, to do any productive writing I will need a separate keyboard; recently I took the ZAGG Folio case with built-in Bluetooth keyboard and it fit the bill perfectly.
Tired of having you iPhone Lightning Cable fray? Are you sick of people stealing your cord when they come over because they all look alike? Well so was I. So I’m actually pretty stoked I no longer have to worry about breaking my charging cable again, and it’s all thanks to Titan.
So as you know… Today is Amazon Prime Day, and you know what that means right? It’s time to pull out your purse and wallet and get a great deal on those items that you probably have on your wish list but wanted to wait until the price dropped.
One company that continuously puts out great products that I like is Tylt. So I wasn’t surprised to see that they announced two new products this week that you’ll more than likely need to have for some of your favorite gadgets this summer.
A good charging cable is so hard to find. Luckily when I opened up my mailbox earlier this month I was able to find myself a review sample of a lightning cable for Apple products that I needed THAT day due to (another) cable failing me.
One thing you should always have with you even when you’re not thinking about it is a charging cable for your phone. So it sucks when you’re stuck with a low battery and have to go to a gas station to get their cheap cables that probably won’t work the next day.
The other day I was carrying a backpack with my JBL Clip speaker clipped to one shoulder strap. Someone asked me what it was and was impressed when I explained that it let me keep my music with me all the time. The new JBL Clip+ goes one better for the same sub-$60 now that it has a splashproof design.

For $29.99 ($10 more thanApple’s 3′ cable costs ) you get a 5′ tangle-free braided cable that can be plugged into a USB port from either side.
It’s been a while, but finally a Kickstarter I can get behind. If you’re a follower of crowdsourcing, you may have heard of PebbleBee, which back in 2014 after successful funding, their PebbleBee Honey was released and bacame the most affordable iOS/Android Bluetooth Device. Well they have another product that is currently seeking funding that’s just as great! The PebbleBee… Read More ›
Even as a child I was a fan of drive-in movie theatres, the big screen, and the projected movie more importantly. So when I grew up and it was time to buy a television, I asked around and received plenty of “get the biggest you can possibly get”. I eventually settled with a 65-inchbecause it seemed practical for my living… Read More ›
After following their Kickstarter a few years back, I was actually surprised when I got the opportunity to review Jorno’s tri-fold Bluetooth keyboard. I’ve used quite a few Bluetooth keyboards for my devices, but none quite like this one. And to be honest, that’s a good thing. The first thing you see after ripping open the packaging is how… Read More ›

This time out we are taking a look at the new TYLT RIBBN 4.8A Car Charger with Flat Ribbon Cable. This is, to be honest, the car charging system I have been waiting for. Here’s why. The car charger comes in… Read More ›
Ventev may not be a household name when it comes to mobile accessories but they should be. We were sent a number of their mobile accessories for review. I am impressed with the form, the function and the pricing of each, and you will be too. Lets take a look at each of them.
My workflow is pretty much all Apple these days. I have an iPhone 6 Plus, an iPad Air 2, and a MacBook Pro. (I returned my 2015 MacBook but that’s another post.) For someone like me the Twelve South PlugBug World is an indispensable accessory. I charged my computer AND an iOS device at the same time. PlugBug World is… Read More ›
I love my iPhone 6 Plus but find the battery to be lacking. I’ve tried a host of settings tweaks to optimize battery life but still run low by early afternoon. Having a strategically-placed charging dock is key for me. The Twelve South HiRise Deluxe is just such a charging dock. I reviewed the original HiRise and was impressed. This… Read More ›
I found myself searching for a sleeve/case for my iPad Air recently and my efforts led me to Inateck. The Protection for iPad Air sleeve is a stylish gray felt sleeve that fits nicely over my device even when my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard is attached. Inateck also designed the sleeve to function as a nifty little device stand.

Looking suspiciously like an evening clutch that I would love to own, the new Braven LUX HD Wireless Speaker is much more than a fashionable portable sound system. Measuring 6.5″ long x 2.6″ wide x 21.8″ deep, this 11.8 ounce speaker offers 12 hours continuous battery life and it can even top-off your phone’s battery.
I recently had a chance to check out the Adonit Jot Script Evernote Edition, an advanced stylus designed for iOS. Its Pixelpoint tip is the most precise tip on the market, and it provides an almost pen and paper feel. It takes AAA batteries and is compatible with all iOS devices, although the iPad is probably best for writing.
