Assassin’s Creed Unity/Rogue Pre-Release Guide

This year the historical action/adventure-filled Assassin’s Creed game series gives players two comprehensive experience based on different consoles on Tuesday, November 11. Assassin’s Creed Unity will release on the “next-gen” PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Assassin’s Creed Rogue on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which will likely be the last Creed installment on these consoles.


Disney Infinity 2.0 Releases Second Wave

Developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios, Disney Infinity 2.0 has released the second “wave” of figures, power discs, and other items. This newly released wave includes Merida and Stitch in the Starter Pack and the separate figures Aladdin, Tinkerbell, Maleficent, and Donald Duck plus Hiro and Brymax from Big Hero 6.

Fury Comes in Bundles to World of Tanks Game

Fury has come to the World of Tanks as Wargaming and Sony Pictures team for a synergetic punch! Sony Pictures’ new WWII action film Fury (in theater October 17) is featured in new World of Tank game bundles on PC, Xbox 360 and iOS. These bundles feature a Fury-branded iconic M4 Sherman Tank commanded by the film’s lead character, Wardaddy.


Disney Infinity 2.0 Edition Review on PlayStation 4

Developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios, Disney Infinity 2.0 unleashes the Marvel Universe into the gameplay based on playsets, discs, and set pieces all physically placed on a base pad so players can put characters directly into the game with free gameplay options in digital versions.


Dragon Age Inquisition’s Unique Character Creation Tool

Dragon Age Inquisition will feature a unique character creation tool (male and female) when the game officially releases on November 18. Dragon Age Inquisition is the next-generation RPG from BioWare set in an epic, dark fantasy world where players are empowered to shape and drive their experience with tough choices that allow them to experience moments based on those decisions.


Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes Sizzle in Sales

Since the September 23rd launch, Disney Infinity Marvel Super Heroes figures, starter packs, and play-set adventures have literally been flying off the store shelves for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and iOS. Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Spider-Man are all represented in this second coming of the popular hybrid toy / video game.


DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket Returns to Gaming Consoles

The DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket gaming console package is back on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One! This service celebrates 20 years with a return to consoles, which began on the consoles like the PlayStation 3 three years ago. Last year’s users got service access codes (e.g. on PC) when purchasing Madden NFL 25.



Microsoft E3 2014 – Presentation Summary

Microsoft E3 2014 brought some serious game to consumers! Microsoft devoted this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) presentation (a.k.a. global media briefing) to games, while taking pride in their recent Xbox One console price drop to $399 (without the Kinect sensor). Exclusive Xbox One games were plentiful while HALO fans can look forward to several games by year’s end.

Titanfall: Expedition Downloadable Content Pack Releases

Titanfall: Expedition has released on PC and Xbox One! It’s the first of three planned downloadable content (DLC) packs ($9.99 each) on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC with the base first-person shooter game Titanfall. Players get three new maps – Runoff, Swampland and War Games. Runoff features an industrial complex while Swampland explains itself plus War Games features special simulation situations.


343i Announces Halo 5: Guardians Will Release in Fall 2015

Have you been hungry for Halo news like I have been? Well, 343 Industries has tried to satisfy that rumbling in your gut with an “announcement of an announcement” of sorts. Today, on Xbox.com, 343i announced that the next installment of the game will be called Halo 5: Guardians and will be released on Xbox One in the Fall of 2015.

This next iteration of the Disney Infinity video game, which released in August 2013 through October 2013. will include characters from the Marvel Universe.


Gorgeous New Destiny Gameplay Video Dropped Today

Today, Bungie released a new 7-minute long Destiny gameplay video, showing a group of players fighting through a Strike Mission. The hype is definitely starting to build as we’re finally seeing large chunks of gameplay as well as the weapons and abilities that your Guardian can take advantage of. Soda Drinker Pro is Coming to an Xbox One Near You This September

I’m not even sure where to start with this one, so I’ll get right to it.  Soda Drinker Pro, a “soda drinking simulation game” that  features interesting graphics is coming to the Xbox One in September.  Soda Drinker Pro will feature Kinect support.  You may want to take a look at the video below for more on SDP. Titanfall’s Developers Push Out Updates and Promise Future Free Content

Titanfall was released on 3/11/14 to a shower of positive reviews.  Since then, players have logged countless hours and have made some general complaints.  Respawn Entertainment, Titanfall’s developer, has been surprisingly responsive to its fans with regard to server outage updates as well as quickly releasing game balancing and bug-fix updates.  Just yesterday, a beta matchmaking balance update was released.
