Give her the Sun with the Sun Jar

If choosing a gift can be a problem, for sure choosing one for your mother can be a demanding task: you would like something useful, but it should be also feminine, maybe original and possibly not too expensive.

Stop thinking, why not giving her something simply… natural? Why not giving her the sun?

Fortunately enough you don’t need to steal it, all you have to do is to give her a Sun Jar, like the ones available at PrezzyBox.

This is not a common box where you put biscuits or chocolate, it is a sun jar and, as such, it stores the sun rays and returns them at night as a diffused and warm light. The actual color depends on the model you choose, but considering we are talking about mom, pink could be the right choice.

From the vendor’s site (pink version):

When the Sun Jar is placed in sunlight the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over a few hours. This energy is then used at night to power the three LED lamps inside the jar. Simple! Made with a traditional Mason jar and high tech energy efficient lighting! Captured inside the jar are a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and low energy LED lamps.

The light is diffused by the hot pink frosted jar and gives the appearance of sunlight emitting from the inside. The warm coloured LED lights are used to give a more natural and warm light. The Sun Jar has no switch. In fact there are no visible controls at all. There is a clever light sensor inside that automatically activates the lights when it gets dark or the lights are turned out! However there is an override switch inside the lid to turn off the light at night and conserve battery life.

The jar is waterproof and can be left outside the window even in bad weather conditions… and maybe also you will find it useful if you want to go back your mother’s home late at night.
