AppVault Pro For iPhone/Touch Review

AppVault Pro was released December 29 by C3 Software.  The vault contains 25 applications for the price of one.  Yes, there have been similar applications containing several smaller apps but often times those apps have a lower quality from a standalone app.  After spending the day with AppVault Pro I have to say this is a well polished app with some very good content.  Check out what is included for the one low price after the break.

AppVault Pro For iPhone/Touch Review

As seen in the screen shot above, the application is quite attractive.  The appearance is similar to a jailbroken springboard theme.  Each app sitting on a shelf with its own icon.  The UI is very iPhone like with nice sounds and polished graphics.  Any iPhone user should be at home navigating between the 25 applications.  The list of applications is long and most people will not have a use for every one of them.  I promise there will be enough apps useful to each user to more than justify the price.

I did go through and check out all of the regular apps.  All of them successfully do what they are developed to do well and are attractive visually.  I woke up to the alarm this morning set to AC/DC Back In Black then read the Bible verse of the day.  Once I came to my office I tuned my guitar.  All of this done from the same app.  My brother and I were out shopping Christmas Eve and we were talking how we needed to get an app that let us push a button marking where we were parked then click another to find the car later.  It is here.  Tip calculator, ruler, flashlight; all of the apps are high quality.  I am actually quite impressed and have moved AppVault Pro to my home springboard for quick opening.

The Dashboard view is customizable.  Choose the background and the setup of the apps.  I currently have mine set to 4 icons across and 5 rows.  Moving the icons is exactly the same as moving one on the iPhone screens.  Hold the app icon down until they jiggle then slide them where desired.  Unwanted apps can also be deleted.  Make each page truly what works for you.

The bottom line is that this app will help remove clutter for some of the specialized apps we all have on our iPhones.  I can easily say each of the apps could be sold for at least $.99 on their own.  Here is the great part…get all 25 apps in one package for $2.99.  Basically if three of the apps are good enough for regular use for you, the app pays for itself.  Go check it out here in the app store.

What I like: 25 great apps in one package for a low price!

What could use improvement: I am still searching.  Very nice application.

  1. I’ve tried one of these types of applications before…It is a great value. But I’m torn. I like saving Springboard Screen real estate but I eventually took it off my iPhone, because I didn’t like having to click twice to get to the app I needed. Plus, I was so used to using my other converter, flashlight, etc. tools that I kept forgetting to open the main app. I guess it is the old, “out of sight, out of mind.”
