I just got my first big surprise with regard to the iPad. The iPad App Store went live and I started shopping. I bought Pages and Keynote. I bought the Scrabble app. Then I saw something odd. An entirely new app. And in many cases the new iPad version, which looks great from screen shots, is a FREE update if you own the app.
That means the apps won’t just work on the iPad but that they will work properly and in a manner that takes advantage of the iPad’s bigger screen and increased power.
