You can get documents onto the iPad in a number of ways. The easiest is to launch a web browser and connect through it.

You can also use a variety of online storage services. Translation… I no longer need separate apps for iDisk, Dropbox and Google Docs. Convergence is a good thing, especially since iPhone OS 4.0 and its support for 2000+ apps won’t be available on the iPad until fall.

The app includes a built-in browser so you can jump to the web, grab screen shots and add them to ReaddleDocs without ever leaving the app.

  1. I would love a copy of ReaddleDocs for iPad, mostly for the clean Google Docs integration. I haven’t yet gotten GoodReader, and it looks like this might be an acceptable alternative.

    Thanks!

  2. I would like some idea about your feelings of ReaddleDocs versus GoodReader. Any follow-up thought comparing the two?

  7. ReaddleDocs For iPad – I would love to load this up with all my technical documentation. When I am away from my desk I find I often need network schematics and/or reference material in order to help me diagnose a problem on our work network. ReaddleDocs would be ideal. I could carry everything with me all the time, at the moment I have to keep going back to my office and looking up the information, this would be fantastic !!! I am using Dropbox for all my personal files and work with GoogleDocs extensively so integration with both of those is just brilliant !!!

  8. I could really use a good document reader that pulls attachments out of my email. Tired of the limitations of the email app for that. Would love an iphone version.

  9. The iPad version would be great to access all of my different types of documents everywhere!
