I have been happily using an Epson all-in-one printer since I reviewed one for the site last year. The printer does everything I need and much more. Best of all it does it quickly and accurately, and it’s relatively easy to use despite the huge number of functions available through it. It is intended for a small office, and so it hasn’t gotten the wear and tear that others might put on it, but over a year later it’s working other than ever. In fact, it fit what my dad needed so I set it up for him when he got his new iMac last week.

Epson has released a new all-in-one printer earlier today- the NX420. This time they’re looking at a different market by pricing the printer at less than $100.  ($99.99 to be exact) That’s not a lot of money to pay for a printer but it doesn’t look as if Epson has cut a lot of corners here either.  The new NX420 is a printer, scanner, copier that is designed for

busy families and students who want to conveniently share one printer with multiple users for various everyday  printing tasks such as schoolwork, recipes or vacation photos.

To make sharing the printer as easy as possible the company has included wireless N connectivity so that it has the fastest WiFi available and everyone in the house can easily access it.

Additional features include highest-quality scanning ability for up to 2400 dpi, multiple black in color copies with one touch, the ability to reduce the size to 25% or increase it to 400%, one click red-eye removal and automatic photo correction and the ability to do two-sided printing.

In all, it looks like a great buy if you’re looking for a new multi-use printer for your family.  The Epson Stylus NX420 ($99.99*) is currently available through major computer, office and electronic superstores, a variety of retail stores nationwide, mail order, PC manufacturers, the Internet, and Epson’s own retail site, www.epsonstore.comThe full press release follows…
