MacCase makes some gorgeous bags and cases for carrying your MacBook or other Apple products. They offers a line of sleeves that start at $39.95 and a Premium leather line that includes the  Premium Leather Flight Jacket for all sizes of Apple Laptops with prices starting at $189.95.

As you add the $20 backpack straps and a $30 shoulder pad the price increases to over $200. That’s a bit of an investment but then again, the case looks awesome and will likely outlive your next five notebooks.

A while back the company recently began asking for input from potential customers in regard to what kind of iPad-related products they were looking for. Well they have taken all the responses, made some decisions and are close to publicly revealing their first designs and allowing customers to pre-order.

I just saw some early images and… this is an iPad case-company you want to keep your eye on. We’ll have full details and lots of images (and hopefully some early reviews) soon. In the meantime you can check out their current lineup over at MacCase.

About the Author

Dan Cohen
Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. Dan is married to Raina Goldberg who is also an avid user of Apple products. They live in New Jersey with their golden doodle Nava.
