Now this is something different. Traditionally earphones either sit on your ear or in your ear. Those in your ear are held in place with a variety of different methods using everything from foam covers to flanged plastic (the Etymotic hf2 use this method) or they are molded to your ear the way the are. Well Urbanears has taken a different approach and it looks rather intriguing.

The new Urbanear Medis come in 12 colors and use an entirely new method to stay put once placed in your ear. As Urbanears explains-

What makes the Medis unique, apart from the number of color-ways, is how it sits in your ear. The Medis uses the patented EarClick solution to secure the earpiece at two separate points to the outer canal of your ear rather than one, relieving pressure to a nearly non-existent level while keeping it firmly in place. Meaning the days of uncomfortable in-ears that repeatedly fall out are over.

The Medis come with two Interchangeable pads in four sizes so you can find the perfect fit.

Medis features the unique earclick patent securing its earpieces at two separate pressure points. This gives a snug fit at a much higher comfort while keeping the earpiece in place. For optimal fit and performance each Medis is delivered with four setups of pads in different sizes. Correctly fitted the earpiece sits very comfortably without falling out, withstanding a reasonable amount of applied force. Additionally, the Medis rests with a distance from the ear leaving your sense of balance unaffected making it perfect for sports.
