Hulu Plus Launches... Open to All With Subscriptions Costing Just $7.99 a Month

I’ve been subscribing to Hulu Plus during its closed preview period for the last few months. I first received an invitation and signed up only to let the subscription expire a few weeks later. I re-upped shortly there-after because I really loved the way the service let me access many of my favorite shows on the iPad. At the time the service ran $9.99 per month. It seemed reasonable for the amount of content I was getting although I did dislike having to watch commercials AND pay for the subscription.

Well Hulu Plus has just opened its gates to anyone who wants to sign up. Yes, the preview period is over! Better still, the service will cost just $7.99 a month. That’s a full $2 less than it was during the preview, although not the $5 a month that was rumored recently. The service is going one step further and is refunding those of us who had Hulu Plus during the preview period $2 for each month we paid for access during the preview.

To see what shows are available you can visit the Hulu Plus site here. To see which TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, mobile phones and tablets are supported visit here. But only look if you are open to the possibility of adding the monthly $7.99 to your budget because… once you look… odds are you’ll want to sign up.
