AUTUM Releases Turncoat, an iPad Sleeve with a Difference

AUTUM is one of those small boutique accessory companies that are a hidden gem. When we came across their iPad sleeves we knew this was an outfit we wanted to get to know better. The artistry they bring to each of their products is obvious and their commitment to quality is outstanding.

We reviewed their impressive StraightJacket, leather sleeves for the iPad and both the 11″ and 13″ MacBook Air. We were impressed, and I continue to use and enjoy the sleeves.

Then we brought word of their most unusual couch, the Heretic. It was to die for — literally, since it is constructed from a coffin.

Now AUTUM is back with the Turncoat, an iPad sleeve that is as unique as we have come to expect from the company. It is gorgeous, functional and stands out from the pack.

As they explain,

With a rather irreverent design; the Turncoat functions with the simplicity of a sleeve while offering the protection of a more robust case. A single cut of 6 oz, domestically tanned leather accommodates your iPad 2 with or without a smart cover. Four hand fastened duty snaps securely hold everything in place and allow for quick access from the top or bottom.

At $144 the Turncoat is not for the faint of heart, but for that you get an iPad sleeve with great features, a unique design and a product from a company for whom this is a labor of love.
